Natural v Unnatural

Posted by
Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 9 September 2008 in Abstract & Conceptual.

A Moment in Photographic History:
On September 9, 1899 the wonderful photographer Brassaï (Gyula Halász)was born in Brassó, in south-east Transylvania, Austria-Hungary.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
"The range of vision of the great photographers is extremely narrow. They must confine themselves to their own peculiar obsessions and types of images which can express character and feelings: Westons's sand dunes of New Mexico; Ansel Adam's is vast cosmic landscapes; Arbus's is monsters; Atget's the streets of Paris."

The iron looks like it is gradually corroding into the natural again so in a way it goes well with the fungi. A neat image, Michael.
