Basking in the Glow

Posted by
Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 17 August 2008 in Animal & Insect and Portfolio.

A Moment in Photographic History:
German photographer Lotte Jacobi was born August 17, 1896. Well, she was born in Thorn, Germany but it is Torun, Poland. So she is either German or Polish but whatever she was, she shot some mighty fine portraits. Her shot of Albert Einstein is my favourite of him.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
The camera cannot lie, but it can be an accessory to untruth.
