A Moment in Photographic History:
The little known Joshua Crissman was born 29 July 1833 in Madison Ohio in the United States part of America. His photographs are just as good as the more famous William Henry Jackson but his name is nearly forgotten. In fact many of his photographs are known to have been sold by other photographers as their own.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
I take photographs with love, so I try to make them art objects. But I make them for myself first and foremost - that is important.
