Posted by
Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 11 June 2007 in Landscape & Rural.

One living tree stands vigil over a dead brother in the desert near Cache Creek.

In this area one dead tree makes a big difference to the population.

Great tones in this picture, Michael. It emphasizes the ruggedness of the landscape and the two lonely trees in a harsh environment.

This is a very nice b&w with great textures and tones. I like the twisted shapes in the dead tree.
