Just Snow

Posted by Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 26 December 2008 in Landscape & Rural.

If you have seen my Blogger post you will know that I am having someangst over my old 'puter which seems to be acting like a food processor and churning some of my photo files like they are so many vegetables ready for the soup pot. I am afraid to open any decent shot until I solve the problem.
In the mean time . . . this is just snow. Uncorrupted snow without a spot of yellow.

A Moment in Photographic History:
Samuel Dunseith McKellen died December 26, 1906. Now who was he? Well, the next time you connect your camera to a tripod think about good old Sam because in 1884 he patented that little threaded hole in the bottom of camera which allow connection to tripods.

A Photographic Quote of Note:
The whole point of taking pictures is so that you don’t have to explain things with words.
