A Moment in Photographic History:
Franco-Luxembourgian physicist and inventor Gabriel Jonas Lippmann was born August 16, 1845. In 1908, Lippmanm was awarded the Nobel Prize in Physics for his colour photographic plate which used light wave interference which is kind of like what causes the colours in soap bubbles.
