A Moment in Photographic History:
French-Hungarian photographer Lucien Hervé was born as László Elkán on August 7, 1910. He from his home in Hungary to Paris in 1929. During World War II he was captured by the Germans but escaped and became a member of the French Resistance under the name Lucien Hervé which was his name ever after. He was greatly admired for his black and white photos of architecture.
