Avalanche
Posted by Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 3 July 2008 in Landscape & Rural and Portfolio.
The trees were knocked down by an avalanche near Stewart, B.C.. Or rather they were knocked up.
The large avalanche was on the opposite side of the valley and the resulting displaced air exploded across the valley and uprooted the trees throwing them up the mountain.

A Photographic Quote of Note:
I have always been a firm believer in photographic experiments. Only by attempting everything personally can a photographer begin to understand the scope of photography..…No picture, verbal description or how-to-do-it article can supersede first-hand experience.

Desperate Images and Existential Existence
All Images are Copyright ©Michael Rawluk. Just thought I would say that although why anyone would want to use them is beyond me. Well, Colette Amelia does on occasion but she always gives me a kiss after. So, if you want to use an image ... we can work something out ;-)
