After the Fire

This is the result of the fire that was in my May 27 post. Except this was not THE fire. This is one of the ancillary about a mile from the big fire. Embers from the fire ignited a few others.

A Moment in Photographic History:
In 1879 in Austria Karl Klic (Klic is a good photographic name) invented photogravure mechanical printing. Photogravure uses a copper plate etched to hold ink in the dark areas of the photograph. It is still considered to be one of the finest printing processes.
