A Moment in Photographic History: Lithuanian photographer Izis (Israel Bidermanas) died on May 16, 1980. He left his Hebrew language school at age 13 to be apprenticed to a photographer. After receiving his training, he wandered the country and photographed. In 1931 he arrived in Paris penniless and without any passport or other papers, and not speaking a single word of French. - A Photographic Quote of Note: When I have a camera in my hand, I know no fear. - - - - - - Alfred Eisenstaedt

The lower one looks amazingly like a peace sign. I'd love to see what this looks like under a microscope. Nature is amazing. Thanks for bringing bits of it to us.
