A Moment in Photographic History:
English photographer Samuel Bourne died April 24, 1912 Bourne, was a photographer of outstanding landscapes. He also made a number of expeditions to the Himalayas. It is said that on one of his journeys he employed as many as fifty servants to carry the vast array of equipment. Writing in the British Journal of Photography, 1864, he stated: "With scenery like this it is very difficult to deal with the camera: it is altogether too gigantic and stupendous to be brought within the limits imposed on photography...."

A Photographic Quote of Note:
The photographer is like the cod, which lays a million eggs in order that one may be hatched.

All Images are Copyright ©Michael Rawluk. Just thought I would say that although why anyone would want to use them is beyond me. Well, Colette Amelia does on occasion but she always gives me a kiss after. So, if you want to use an image ... we can work something out ;-)
