A Moment in Photographic History:
Warren de la Rue died April 19, 1889. He is best know for his pioneering work in the application of the art of photography to astronomical research. In 1851, he obtained exquisitely defined lunar pictures, which remained unsurpassed until the appearance of the Lewis Morris Rutherfurd photographs in 1865.

A Photographic Quote of Note:
To me, photography is an art of observation. It's about finding something interesting in an ordinary place... I've found it has little to do with the things you see and everything to do with the way you see them.

Desperate Images and Existential Existence
All Images are Copyright ©Michael Rawluk. Just thought I would say that although why anyone would want to use them is beyond me. Well, Colette Amelia does on occasion but she always gives me a kiss after. So, if you want to use an image ... we can work something out ;-)
