A Moment in Photographic History:
Cornell Capa was born as Cornell Friedmann in Budapest on April 14, 1918. Cornell, younger brother of Robert Capa, is a photographer and photo curator. He began his work-life in the Life Magazine darkroom and worked himself into the position of staff photographer.
A Photographic Quote of Note:
Images at their passionate and truthful best are as powerful as words can ever be. If they alone cannot bring change, they can at least provide and understanding mirror of man’s actions, thereby sharpening human awareness and awakening conscience.
