Drop Gate
Posted by Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 8 April 2008 in Cityscape & Urban and Portfolio.
A Moment in Photographic History:
French photographer Jules Itier, after developing for nine months, was born April 8, 1802. He learned the Daguerreotype process soon after its announcement in 1839. He travelled to Senegal and Guiana in Africa and Guadaloupe in the West Indies in 1842-1843. In 1844 Itier headed a mission to China and took what are thought to be the earliest images of Macao and Canton.

A Photographic Quote of Note:
What uses having a great depth of field, if there is not an adequate depth of feeling?

All Images are Copyright ©Michael Rawluk. Just thought I would say that although why anyone would want to use them is beyond me. Well, Colette Amelia does on occasion but she always gives me a kiss after. So, if you want to use an image ... we can work something out ;-)
