Controlling the snow. - A Photographic Joke (no, not me): How many photographers does it take to change a light bulb? 50. One to change the bulb, and forty-nine to say, "I could have done that!" - A Photographic Quote of Note: I'm always mentally photographing everything as practice. - - - - - Minor White

I loved the simplicity of the photo and the joke made me smile too :-)

Great joke quote today, and perhaps fitting with this image. It is the seemingly straightforward images that people think, why didn't I photograph that? But the joke is that they did not. They would have stepped on or over this chain with out seeing what you have shared. This photograph is also a perfect example of communicating in only black and white. Well done Michael.

simple shot, but very interesting and wonderfully done. Although I do find myself sometimes saying "I could have done that", for this image of your I have to honest and admit that I am not sure I would have seen what you have captured!!

I could have done that. Oh, no, wait, I couldn't have. In the first place I wouldn't have even noticed it. In the second place I wouldn't have known what part of it to photograph and in the third place it would have been blurry. So, nevermind.
PS I'm not really from Albania, but I couldn't resist. Where is Albania, anyway? Maybe it's chained up, under this snow.

It's good to keep that wild snow chained up; no telling where it might go otherwise.

Michael:
This is great. Love the simplicity. You have a gift for seeing the sublime in the ordinary, and these shots tend to be my favorites of yours. Beautiful...

I agree with the two guys above me; the simplicity of this shot lends it a graphic quality and everytime I see it in your thumbnails I can't resist clicking on it and having another look!
