A Moment in Photographic History:
Sir David Brewster died February 10, 1868. Sir David, an outstanding scholar, attended Edinburgh University at the age of eleven. He did early work on the properties of light and talked David Hill, as an aid to his painting. He once said "While a Daguerreotype picture is much more sharp and accurate in its details than a Calotype, the latter possesses the advantage of giving a greater breadth and massiveness to its landscapes and portraits.” I guess size does matter.

All Images are Copyright ©Michael Rawluk. Just thought I would say that although why anyone would want to use them is beyond me. Well, Colette Amelia does on occasion but she always gives me a kiss after. So, if you want to use an image ... we can work something out ;-)
