The Sportsman Motel is very vacant. The sound of thewind sounds very much like howling ghosts.

Looks like the sportsmen decided to take some potshots at the sign. Restaurant appears to be open though. You've made it all look so inviting.

Ditto what earlier posters said about the tones...they're very well balanced. I also like the off-angle tilt of the foreground sign, which gives a sense of how abandoned the scene really is!

Ah, the Sportsman Motel, I agree with Shutterbug that this was possibly the Bates Motel years ago?! Great, if not a haunting image. Is the old house still standing on the hill to the left and just out of the frame? Glad I've already taken my shower today! Show us more of the inside :-o

Very nice. I liked last years Sportsman Motel images as well. It seems like a lonely and isolated spot for a motel. What kind of area is it located near?

Seems like every town has one of these with that name! LOL Love the abandoned tone to this image... almost like tumble weeds are about blow across the view.
