This is not a river. Let me rephrase that. This is not supposed to be a river but with ice clogging the river some of the extra spillage is flowing along these channels that are normally only full in Spring.

This is a beautiful meandering river (okay, I’ll say channel.) But channel doesn’t quite have the same ring to it, does it? ;-) Love the composition too!

You know what they say "a rose, by any other name....". Whether this is a river, a channel, a stream, or a creek, it is still beautiful, meandering through the winter landscape.
