The Rolling Stone

Posted by Michael Rawluk (Williams Lake, BC, Canada) on 29 August 2007 in Plant & Nature and Portfolio.

I don't know how these things happen. How does a tree contrive to grow around a large stone and imprison it? Or did the stone come rolling along and somehow manage to slide into a tree.

By the way, even in a still photograph you can tell that it is no longer rolling because it has gathered some moss.

I appreciate your comments and constructive criticism.
