150 Mile House

I shot this in about 1980 using an Ansco Box Camera (patented 1923) and using Cibachrome for film so it was a one of shot. No negative.

The lens was not the sharpest piece of glass in the world.

It does indeed resemble a pin camera (more so if the edges were blurred). Great vintage image... it has such a great evocative edge to it... a private story for us all to imagine. (if that makes sense)

Cibachrome, now there is a blast from the past. I have used it in pinhole cameras but never in a regular camera, but why not. You can have great fun with the old glass it adds an interesting dimension to an image. I have been using an old Lubitel TLR which has a lens made from an old beer bottle!

Coincidental we should be posting old buildings! They make great subjects as you say.
