Went to the 1860s Gold Mining town of Barkerville yesterday. On the way we saw many deer, a moose, and a couple of black bears.
This bear track shows the claws and you can see the imprint from the fur along the edges.
I appreciate your comments and constructive criticism.

@Sarah: The print was about 6 inches across so it was not a huge bear. Thanks for the visit and the comment.

@sophiaw: Thanks for the comment. I saw a bear not far from where the track was so it might have been the one. It was a young guy. Probably a 2 year old. And it was beautiful.
What a great picture! I am so glad you posted this. I hope I can see a black bear while I'm here visiting their territory, but preferably they'll be a ways away from me when I see them. Thanks for sharing this.
