It's a New Year

It is a warm day and the ice is melting on the warm brick sidewalk.

It does indeed feel like a new beginning. It also feels like there is optimism in the air. At least I feel there is; I feel ready for a new beginning. It almost feels like there is spring in the air.

And spring in my step.
