Canadian Beaver

Somehow, old trains can be very comforting. I think it has something to do with the simple technologies used. They may have seemed sophisticated at the time but the are simple compared to what we have in our present day lives.

Even locomotives are marvels of computer sophistication.

Someday they will, of course, seem very crude.
