Fred's Main Squeeze

First of all, I guess I need to say where this photo was shot before it all makes sense. It was shot about 75 metres from a Tattoo Parlour.
Now . . .
my question is - did the tree go to the Tattoo Parlour or did the artist come to the tree? My guess is that the artist came to the tree.
Next . . .
there are several trees at this location with tattoos. Did they get a discount?
And . . .
are these trees part of a gang? I saw some brutal violence in downtown Prince George today. Do I have to start worrying about marauding arborescent life forms?
